Happy Birthday To Us!

In actual fact, I missed Mobile Inquirer’s half year birthday yesterday (at this age you still count the halves!)

So this is actually belated, and I have already slapped my wrist for me.

It has been a really interesting time writing for mobile inquirer since June last year.

Wide scope of content:

The site was started to inform, educate and entertain people of the growing adoption of “mobile technology” and in all honesty I have found myself writing on so many areas that this has bordered on including:

General technology, mobile internet, social media, gadgets, reviews, opinion, rants, politics, and riots!…

Mobile is so inherently pervasive that I feel extremely satisfied with the general direction of the site, and that my keen interest in so many areas is not stunted via the websites view point and niche.

Growing audience:

The site has a steadily growing number of unique visitors, currently at a minimum of 1500 per day, with pageviews now well in excess of 2000+ per day, which I am very pleased about as this indicates that people are reading more than they came for!

Make no bones about it, writing daily and running a website is not easy, but, it seems hard work pays off, and I just hope people are enjoying the site and the reports I am providing.

The Future:

I intend to make this site the go-to site for mobile related news and as advertising revenue increases I will be looking to invest cash into hiring high quality technology journalists who have a passion for mobile news and have a flair for writing good quality content.

From small Acorns mighty Oaks grow, and all that malarkey.

Writers wanted:

If you might be interested in a writing role, can you get in touch with us via our contact form above, and let us know a bit about you, I am looking for reviewers, and generalists, as well as more niche technology writers with a leaning towards mobile content.

Video:

Video is one area I have worked in, so I am currently trying to work out some formats for moving forward with this medium, so expect to see more reviews and perhaps even my face a little more in the next 12 months!

Lastly, thank you to our visitors and contributors:

Obviously without our visitors it would all be a bit pointless and I just want to say thank you for finding us and please come back for more.

If you are enjoying the site, I would love you to add us to your social networks on the side of this page, so I can stay in touch, the usual crowd are there.
