A little bit of technology gossip here from Engadget who claim to have received images from a source offering an insight into HTC’s new smartphone codenamed Zeta.
The phone which will run on Ice Cream Sandwich is rumoured to be delivering 2.5Ghz from a Quad Core Qualcomm processor, with a 4.5 inch screen offering 720p HD.

Other features are said to include:

- The Sense UI
- 32GB storage
- 1,830mAh battery
- Bluetooth 4.0
- Beats Audio
- 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash
- 1080p video capture and a 1.3MP front-facing cam

The device is believed to be the following dimensions ad weight: 109.8 x 60.9 x 9.8mm and weigh 146g
And taking a look at the image that has been provided it looks quite a mean looking machine….I rather like it.
And with the battery being that little bit more powerful than the Samsung S2 I hope that it manages to tick the cogs of the powerful Quad Core (seriously, Quad Core in a phone!) processor so it actually becomes a useful device and not one you have to apply bandages to to make it work all day.
Look forward to seeing the device in the wild soon…assuming its not a big hoax!
